This will cover an area of 250 sq mt, a Delhi government statement said Friday.
AIIMS has also provided a built-up area of 6,000 sq feet, to be used as a shelter on temporary basis.
The proposed hall will accommodate about 250 needy people, attendants and patients waiting to get admitted and protect them from the harsh winter.
The Supreme Court ruled Jan 9 that shelter be provided to the relatives of AIIMS patients living on the pavements.
