March 20th, 2011 - 4:06 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 20 (IANS) Metro services in the city resumed at 2 p.m. Sunday after being was closed for Holi due to fewer footfalls and security concerns.
“The service on all the six metro lines (in Delhi) has resumed. It resumed shortly after 2 p.m.,” a Delhi Metro official told IANS.
But the Metro feeder bus service was curtailed for the entire day.
On the Holi festival, Metro services were shut down on all six lines — Dilshad Garden to Rithala, Jahangirpuri to HUDA City Centre, Noida City Centre to Dwarka Sec-21, Anand Vihar to Yamuna Bank, Inderlok to Mundka and Central Secretariat to Badarpur.
