Aarushi murder: CBI gets four more days to grill KrishnaJune 23rd, 2008 - 7:43 pm ICT by IANS
Ghaziabad, June 23 (IANS) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probing the Noida double murders was Monday given four days more to interrogate Krishna, who worked as the compounder of teenaged victim Aarushi’s dentist father Rajesh Talwar. The CBI sought four days custody of Krishna after his six-day custody ended Monday and he was produced before the court.
The agency arrested Krishna June 13, saying he had confessed to his involvement in the murder of Aarushi and the Talwar family’s domestic help Hemraj.
The agency has questioned a number of people but is nowhere near zeroing in the motive for the crime.
Aarushi, 14, was found murdered in her Jal Vayu Vihar apartment in suburban Noida May 16. The police initially named her family’s domestic help Hemraj as the prime accused but backtracked when his body was found on the roof of the building the next day.
Rajesh Talwar was arrested May 23.
