- Bhopal, Nov 5 (IANS) Nine students of the Devi Ahilya University’s Institute of Management Studies (IMS) in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh were Thursday suspended for ragging juniors, officials said.
“There were reports that some seniors, including girls, have been victimising the students of first semester for the past 10 days. After the matter came to my knowledge, I have stopped the entry of seniors involved into the college and the case has been handed over to the anti-ragging committee,” the institute’s director P.K. Gupta told IANS.
The committee has been asked to submit its report in the next three days.
The nine suspended students included at least four girls, Gupta added.
