7 workers injured in factory accident
December 10th, 2011 - 12:39 am ICT by IANSGhaziabad, Dec 9 (IANS) Seven workers were injured when a slab of an under-construction factory warehouse collapsed in Ghaziabad Friday, police said.
The accident occurred in Kavi Nagar Industrial Area, where the warehouse was being built by two factory owners for joint use.
The injured workers were taken to the local Shankar Lal Hospital. Two were discharged after the first aid while the others are being treated.
“We are examining the case. If the owners are found guilty of any violation, they will be booked,” said Circle Officer-II Praveen Ranjan Singh.
