7 militants killed in Pakistan
April 10th, 2011 - 10:58 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, April 10 (IANS) Seven militants and a security personnel were killed in a gunfight in the northwestern Pakistan Sunday, media reports said.
The clash broke out when a group of militants tried to enter the Swat area from Mohmand Agency via Dir district, TV channel Geo News reported.
Two other security men were injured in the operation.
One of the seven tribal agencies, Mohmand Agency is a key hideout for militants due to its harsh terrain and proximity to Afghanistan.
