40 killed in Pakistan tribal clashes

Islamabad, Aug 31 (Xinhua) At least 40 people were killed and more than 90 injured Sunday in renewed clashes between warring tribes in northwest Pakistan’s Khurram tribal province.The fierce clashes killed at least 40 people including 30 militants, Geo TV reported.

The clashes between Bangash and Turi tribesmen have been continuing for the last 20 days.

The clashes have forced thousands of people to flee their homes.
