4 students drown while on Valenmtine’s Day picnic
February 14th, 2011 - 9:52 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, Feb 14 (IANS) A picnic with friends on Valentine’s Day proved to be fatal for four college students in Maharashtra who drowned in a reservoir of a dam Monday, police said.The four - Siddhant Bor (18), Abhijit Ende (17), Mayur Gore (19) and Shivam Pandey (20) - went for a picnic at the Pimpalgaon-Joga dam reservoir near Otur village of Junnar subdivision of Pune district.
The local people reported that they drowned in the reservoir, an official from Otur police station said.
“However, we have not been able to recover their bodies from the dam waters yet,” he added.
