30 miners abducted in Pakistan
October 1st, 2011 - 9:32 am ICT by IANSIslamabad, Oct 1 (IANS) Thirty miners were abducted from Pakistan’s Khyber tribal region, a media report said.
The miners were working in a coalmine in Bara’s Akkakhel area when they were kidnapped by dozens of armed men Friday.
Four other labourers working on a roadside were also kidnapped in the Khyber region, DawnNews reported.
Security forces have meanwhile cordoned off the area.
No group has far claimed responsibility.
