New Delhi, Nov 27 (IANS) A 28-year-old woman was allegedly raped by two men in a guest house opposite a police station in central Delhi. The woman alleged that the two raped her after spiking her soft drink, police said Friday.
“The victim met Naresh Dahiya, who is involved in multi-level marketing, at Connaught Place Thursday. Dahiya was with a friend Chetan, who is a fireman. Dahiya took her to a guest house in Daryaganj assuring that he would make her a member of a multi-level marketing company,” a police officer said.

“They served her soft drinks which were laced with sedatives. She became unconscious after which the duo raped her,” the officer added.

The officer said: “Woman’s medical examination confirmed rape and a case has been registered.”

The woman, a resident of Jasola in south Delhi, has denied knowing the man.

Her husband is a property dealer, who had recently suffered losses in business. She works with a Gurgaon-based firm.
