25 Iraqis killed in Syria bus accident
April 22nd, 2011 - 6:09 am ICT by IANSDamascus, April 22 (IANS) At least 25 Iraqi nationals were killed and 20 were wounded when the bus in they were travelling collided with two trucks on a highway in Syria, a media report said.
Damen Azzam, chief of the Damascus Countryside Police, said the coach carrying 45 Iraqis hit the two trucks after their driver lost control of the bus, state-run SANA news agency reported.
The bus rolled over a 15-metre cliff on the Damascus-Homs highway and was completely smashed, Xinhua said.
