21 killed in Madhya Pradesh bus-truck crash
December 21st, 2009 - 9:36 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Bhopal, Dec 21 (IANS) At least 21 people were killed and 20 others injured when a bus collided head-on with a truck Monday evening in Madhya Pradesh’s Guna district, police said.
The accident occurred around 5 p.m. on the Agra-Mumbai highway. Ten passengers were killed on the spot while 11 others died on the way to the hospital, Additional Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Singh said.
The injured have been admitted to Guna district hospital, he said.
Hospital’s civil surgeon C.V. Sharma told IANS over phone that the condition of eight of the 20 injured is critical.
