200 youths detained after raid on rave party
June 27th, 2011 - 12:39 am ICT by IANSRaigad (Maharashtra), June 26 (IANS) Over 200 boys and girls were detained in Maharashtra’s Raigad district after police raided a rave party at a resort here late Sunday, an official said.
“We have detained over 200 boys and girls in the operation,” said inspector S. Patil, head of Khalapur police station.
The raid was still on at 11 p.m. and police were trying to ascertain the type, quantity of drugs and liquor served in the party.
The police action came on a day which is observed as International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
