Islamabad, Aug 21 (Xinhua) Twenty people were killed and at least 50 injured in twin blasts in eastern Pakistan’s Punjab province Thursday, private TV channel Geo reported. The blasts occurred at the main gate of Pakistan Ordnance Factory in Wah Cantonment, some 50 km northwest of Islamabad, said the report.

The channel quoted Rawalpindi police officer Nasir Khan as saying that the blasts targeted civilians.

The injured have been shifted to hospitals and security forces cordoned off the area of the blasts.
