2 lawyers held for roughing up judge in Delhi
July 9th, 2009 - 5:33 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 9 (IANS) Two lawyers were arrested Thursday on charges of roughing up a Delhi court judge, police said.
Rekha Sharma and Akhilesh Gupta were arrested for manhandling Rohini district court Additional Sessions Judge Pankaj Gupta after he passed some adverse remarks in the case Wednesday, a police officer said.
The two lawyers got agitated when Gupta passed his order and they got into a heated argument with him. He was later assaulted by a group of lawyers.
