16 militants killed in Pakistan
January 4th, 2012 - 5:15 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Jan 4 (IANS) Sixteen militants were killed in fighting with security forces in Pakistan Wednesday.
Ten militants were killed in Kurram Agency, bordering Afghanistan, while six others were killed in Zhob, some 260 km from Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province.
Security forces, backed by combat helicopters, have also destroyed several militant hideouts, Xinhua quoted the PTV as saying.
