15-year-old mentally challenged raped in Goa
December 19th, 2011 - 3:07 pm ICT by IANSPanaji, Dec 19 (IANS) A 15-year-old mentally challenged girl was raped inside a toilet of a Church-run centre for the handicapped, police said Monday.
According to police, the girl was lured to the toilet by a man named Desmond Andrade at the St. Francis Xavier Centre for Handicapped in Shantiniketan, Old Goa near Panaji, and then raped.
“We are looking for Desmond and a case has been booked under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code,” a police officer said.
