15 of 25 civil service exam toppers from Delhi
May 6th, 2010 - 7:56 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 6 (IANS) As many as 15 of the 25 toppers in the civil service exam 2009 appeared from the national capital, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) said Thursday.
Of the top 25 in the merit list, 15 appeared from Delhi, two each from Chennai, Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram each, and one each from Allahabad, Chandigarh, Cuttack and Hyderabad, the UPSC said.
“Among first 25, six have made to the merit list in their first attempt, four in second attempt, 11 in third attempt, three in fourth attempt and one in seventh attempt,” said the UPSC.
Of these, 21 took the exam in English and four in Hindi.
