14 Pakistani troopers killed in bomb attack
January 12th, 2012 - 5:24 am ICT by IANSIslamabad, Jan 12 (IANS) At least 14 Pakistani troopers were killed Wednesday night in a bomb attack.
The explosion hit their two vehicles while they were patrolling the Balida area of Balochistan province.
The victims were members of the Frontier Corps.
Several others who were injured were shifted to a nearby hospital, reports Xinhua.
A gunfight broke out between the security forces and the militants after the blast.
The Baloch Liberation Front, a militant group, claimed responsibility for the attack.
