14 hurt in Nairobi grenade attack
October 24th, 2011 - 11:10 am ICT by IANSNairobi, Oct 24 (IANS) Fourteen people were wounded when a club in downtown Nairobi came under a grenade attack, media reports said Monday.
The attack was suspected to be linked to Kenya’s recent operations against Al-Shabaab militants in Somalia, reported Xinhua.
Kenyan troops made further advances into Somali Al-Shabaab controlled territory Saturday, with the support of heavy aerial bombardment.
Somali militants have vowed to retaliate.
