13 killed in two suicide bombings in Afghanistan
May 18th, 2011 - 9:44 pm ICT by IANSKabul, May 18 (IANS) At least 13 people were killed and 20 were injured in two suicide bombings in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province Wednesday, an official said.
“Till now, 13 people, including some police (personnel) were killed and 20 others were injured,” Ahmad Zia Abdulzai, a spokesman for the provincial administration, said.
The bombers targeted police vehicles in Nangarhar’s Behsud district, a local police officer said.
Nangarhar, in the east, is one of Afghanistan’s 34 provinces.
