13 killed in road accident in Jammu
May 30th, 2012 - 11:31 am ICT by IANSJammu, May 30 (IANS) Thirteen people were killed early Wednesday when their vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district, police said.
The Tata Sumo carrying 13 passengers rolled into a 300 metre deep gorge at Digdol, about 165 km north of Jammu city, an official said. All the passengers died instantly.
Bodies were scattered all over and police were finding it difficult to retrieve them, the official said.
