13 die in China coal mine blast
March 12th, 2011 - 11:30 am ICT by IANSBeijing, March 12 (IANS) An explosion in a coal mine in southwest China Saturday left 13 miners dead and six missing, authorities said.
The gas blast hit the Xincheng coal mine in Panxian county of Guizhou province when 34 people were working underground, Xinhua reported.
Fifteen miners managed to escape while 13 bodies were recovered, a statement said.
