11 killed in road accident in Bengal
March 17th, 2012 - 11:43 pm ICT by IANSBankura (West Bengal), March 17 (IANS) Eleven people, including two children, were killed and six injured Saturday when a trekker, in which they were travelling, collided head-on with a lorry coming from the opposite direction in West Bengal’s Bankura district, police said.
Six persons died on the spot following the accident which occurred in the jurisdiction of the Sarenga police station.
Police said another five people, who had been critically injured, succumbed at a local hospital later.
