10 students hurt in Uttar Pradesh bus accident
February 25th, 2011 - 7:56 pm ICT by IANSEtawah (Uttar Pradesh), Feb 25 (IANS) At least 10 students were injured when a speeding bus crashed into their school bus here Friday afternoon, police said.The accident took place in Civil Lines area when the private bus spun out of control and rammed into the Vivekananda Public School bus.
“The students are being treated at a hospital where the condition of two is stated to be critical,” police inspector Puneet Parihar told reporters in Etawah, some 200 km from Lucknow.
“The injured students are 8-10 years old,” he added.
Police are yet to trace the driver of the private bus.
