10 killed in Pakistan road accident

Islamabad, Aug 1 (Xinhua) At least 10 people were killed Friday after their pickup truck plunged into a deep ravine in Pakistan’s North West Frontier Province, a media report said. The accident took place in the Buner district of the province.

Another 17 people were injured, the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) said.

The injured were rushed to hospital.

Road accidents are common in the mountainous Buner region, the report said.
