10 killed, 13 injured in Bengal accident
January 10th, 2011 - 1:25 am ICT by IANSKolkata, Jan 9 (IANS) Ten people were killed and 13 others were injured when a pick-up van carrying picnickers collided with a truck at Binaguri in West Bengal’s Jalpaiguri district Sunday night, police said.”The truck was returning to Cooch Behar from Chamurchi. Ten people died on the spot,” said an officer manning the police control room here.
The injured have been admitted in the Jalpaiguri district hospital.
Jalpaiguri is about 570 km from Kolkata.
