10 kg heroin seized in Punjab, 3 held
February 2nd, 2011 - 11:19 pm ICT by IANSAmritsar, Feb 2 (IANS) Sleuths of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) here have arrested three men and seized contraband, including 10 kg of heroin, from them in Punjab’s Beas town, officials said here Wednesday.”We suspect this contraband was smuggled from Pakistan. We are interrogating the arrested men and hope to seize more drugs on the basis of their inputs,” said a DRI official.
