President of Student Affairs at Ubon Ratchathani University Kitti Insri (กิตติ อินทรีย์) commented on the University Student’s Network declaration calling on students and instructors throughout the nation to practice civil disobedience and cease operation for 3 days, saying that despite having the right to do so students and teachers should consider the impact of their actions to education. Mr. Kitti expressed his disagreement with the ceasing of activity.
President of Student Affairs at Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University Weerayut Chaiyaporn (วีรยุทธ ไชยพร) stated that students may engage in political movements as it is their right but commented that he believes their maybe instigators amongst them. As for the 70/30 political system, Mr. Weerayaut expressed his disagreement with the concept, saying that he felt it was undemocratic.
