TOT Chiang Mai staffs avoid wearing uniform

TOT’’s staffs in Chiang Mai province feared of being attacked by local Chiang Mai people following their colleagues in Bangkok booing and hurling bottles and sandals against Prime Minister and Defense Minister Mr. Somchai Wongsawat in Bangkok early this week.
TOT Plc’s customer service manager in Chaing Mai, Mr.Damnern Boonyasopat (ดำเนิน บุญญะโสภัต) said on Thursday (October 23) that a community radio in Chiang Mai has istigated people to smash TOT’s telophone booths and relevant facilities in the province to retaliate the untowards incident against the premier done by his colleages in Bangkok.
The incident caused panic among TOT’s staffs in the province. Mr. Damnern insisted the TOT’s Chiang Mai staffs did not involved with politics. However, to prevent untowards incidents against them, the staffs were instructed avoid wearing TOT’s uniforms temporarily.
