SET Index gained 1.92 percent this morning

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Index gained 12.43 points in the morning session today (September 8 th), or 1.92 percent higher, to stay at 658.23. The market value was around 4,795,460,000 baht, with about 944,498,000 shares being traded.

During this morning trade, the SET100 Index closed at 998.43 points, increasing by 21.72, or 2.22 percent higher. The SET50 Index stood at 463.37 points, rising by 10.19, or 2.25 percent higher. The FSTHL Index went up 18.13 points, or 2.41 percent higher, to stay at 769.99. The Market for Alternative Investment (mai) Index also moved up 2.02, or 0.86 percent higher, to close at 236.04.

The top five most active values were as follows.

PTT increased to 246.00 baht, up by 6.00 (+2.50%).

PTTEP increased to 136.00 baht, up by 4.00 (+3.03%).

BBL increased to 115.00 baht, up by 5.00 (+4.55%).

SCB increased to 75.50 baht, up by 2.50 (+3.42%).

KBANK increased to 69.50 baht, up by 1.00 (+1.46)
