The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Index lost 7.70 points in the morning session today (September 1st), or 1.13 percent lower, to stay at 676.74. The market value was around 2,631,600,000 baht, with about 508,687,000 shares being traded.
During this morning trade, the SET100 Index closed at 1,031.20 points, decreasing by 12.98, or 1.24 percent lower. The SET50 Index stood at 479.42 points, decreasing by 5.83, or 1.20 percent lower. The FSTHL Index went down 9.61 points, or 1.20 percent lower, to stay at 793.80. The Market for Alternative Investment (mai) Index also decreased 0.20, or 0.08 percent lower, to close at 238.45.
The top five most active values were as follows.
PTT decreased to 262.00 baht, down by 4.00 (-1.50%).
PTTEP decreased to 146.00 baht, down by 3.00 (-2.01%).
GSTEEL decreased to 1.24 baht, down by 0.05 (-3.88%).
BANPU decreased to 386.00 baht, down by 4.00 (-1.03%).
THAI decreased to 13.80 baht, down by 0.90 (-6.12%).
