SET Index closed 2.34 points higher Friday
August 2nd, 2008 - 10:24 am ICT by Amrit RashmisrisethiThe Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Index gained 2.34 points yesterday (August 1st), or 0.35 percent higher, to close at 678.66. The market value was around 8,996,130,000 baht, with about 1,520,387,000 shares being traded.
Yesterday, the SET100 Index closed at 1,028.71 points, increasing by 3.95, or 0.39 percent higher. The SET50 Index closed at 475.57 points, increasing by 1.72, or 0.36 percent higher. The FSTHL Index also went up 6.30 points, or 0.80 percent higher, to close at 790.29. The Market for Alternative Investment (mai) Index gained 0.47 points, or 0.47 percent higher, to close at 241.06.
The top five most active values were as follows.
PTT decreased to 246.00 baht, down by 4.00 (-1.60%).
PTTEP decreased to 149.00 baht, down by 1.00 (-0.67%).
TOP increased to 49.25 baht, up by 0.25 (+0.51%).
BANPU remained at 416.00 baht.
BBL increased to 113.00 baht, up by 4.00 (+3.67%).
