SET Index closed 0.35% lower on Friday
September 27th, 2008 - 12:05 pm ICT by Amrit RashmisrisethiThe Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Index lost 2.17 points yesterday (September 26th), or 0.35 percent lower, to close at 618.97. The market value was around 1,552,608,000 baht, with about 7,378,800,000 shares being traded.
On Friday, the SET100 Index closed at 935.69 points, decreasing by 4.77, or 0.51 percent lower. The SET50 Index closed at 435.25 points, decreasing by 2.29, or 0.52 percent lower. The FSTHL Index also went down 4.34 points, or 0.60 percent lower, to close at 720.21. The Market for Alternative Investment (mai) Index however gained 0.91 points, or 0.41 percent higher, to close at 222.27.
The top five most active values were as follows.
PTT decreased to 236.00 baht, down by 2.00 (-0.84%).
PTTEP remained at 136.00 baht.
IEC increased to 4.92 baht, up by 0.54 (+12.33%).
LOXLEY decreased to 2.28 baht, up by 0.49 (+27.37%).
KBANK decreased to 64.50 baht, down by 1.50 (-2.27%)
