Secretary-General of the Democrat party reveals wishes for new government
September 17th, 2008 - 12:14 pm ICT by Amrit RashmisrisethiSecretary-General of the Democrat party Suthep Tuaksuban (สุเทพ เทือกสุบรรณ) expressed his wish that the new Prime Minister, soon to be selected by the House of Representatives, will not take any action that may incite doubt from the general public or affront them in anyway. He cited such actions as seeking to amend the constitution, giving political pardons and engaging in corruption. He said that abstaining from such quesitonable actions would allow the incoming government to reach it’s 4 year term.
Mr. Suthep continued to ask citizens to closely watch the new government and see if they are working for their own personal gain or not. He also mentioned the Democrat party’s previous effort to push for a national government.
