Scattered thundershowers nationwide
August 30th, 2008 - 9:54 am ICT by Amrit RashmisrisethiThe Meteorological Department reported at 4 AM today (August 30th) that a low pressure cell covers upper Vietnam, and a moderate southwest monsoon still prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Scattered thundershowers are likely over the country with isolated heavy rain in the Northeast and the southwestern coast.
Bangkok metropolis and vicinity can expect scattered thundershowers. The daily temperature would range from 26 to 34 degrees Celsius. The speed of southwesterly winds would be around 10 to 30 kilometers per hour.
