The Royal Thai Army is briefing foreign junior diplomats on Thailand’s implementation of the Emergency Decree within the Bangkok Metropolitan area.
At 13:00 today (September 4), Army Commander in Chief Gen. Anupong Phaochinda (อนุพงศ์ เผ่าจินดา) assigned Assistant Chief of Staff for Intelligence Lt. Gen. Sirichai Disakul (ศิริชัย ดิสกุล) to conduct a briefing on the current political situation for foreign junior diplomats and military attaches from more than 20 nations. The briefing is aimed at creating understanding of the government’s purpose in implementing the Emergency Decree, as well as the Royal Thai Army’s stance and areas of responsibilities.
Foreign diplomatics were also allowed the opportunity to express their opinions and views towards Thailand’s political situation.
