Pua Paendin will not remove Mr. Suwit
August 5th, 2008 - 10:38 am ICT by Amrit RashmisrisethiDeputy Leader of the Pua Paendin party Suradech Yasawas (สุรเดช ยะสวัสด) revealed that a party meeting this afternoon will not seek to alleviate party leader Suwit Khunkitti of his position if he does not voluntarily resign. Mr. Suradech said that the party is still holding to a misunderstanding on the part of Mr. Suwit who recently removed the group from the coalition government. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Information and Communication Technology Mun Pathnotai (มั่น พัธโนทัย) however, has contacted the People Power Party so that Pua Paendin may rejoin the coalition.
The party nonetheless has not yet set a clear stance on the amending of the constitution which the opposition Whip revealed would be seriously considered following a committee conclusion on the 18th.
