Prachinburi province has projected that flooding will subside by the 8th of October and has already begun reparation measures.
Governor of Prachinburi province Pannee Kaensuwan (พรรณี แก่นสุวรรณ) revealed that despite continued rains in the province, water is draining out at a suitable rate with most areas experiencing only a 10 centimeter water level. She stated that if rains do not continue the province should return to normal by the 8th of October and has instructed all relevant agencies to inspect damage and begin aid. A committee has been established to ensure that assistance is equally spread out.
The province governor said that reparations to flood hit areas must encompass all issues including mental distresses, illness and loss of livelihood. An initial report of damaged roads has revealed that 129 roads are in need of repair.
