Spokesman for the People Power Party Lieutenant Kuthep Saikrajang (กุเทพ ใสกระจ่าง) revealed that the People’s Alliance for Democracy’s plan to hold a major anti-government rally tomorrow will definitely bring difficulty to the nation but may not result in the halting of the governments work. He revealed that the PPP has received a letter from Major General Chamlong Srimuang’s Righteous Army detailing its wish to end the current administration as well as attacking the Office of National Buddhism. Lt. Kuthep has tasked relevant agencies to clarify the details of the letter and its origins.
The PPP Spokesman spoke out against the PAD’s inciting of the public against the government. He objected to the use of force and reiterated that the nation is democratic while affirming that no matter what events took place, the PPP would not result to the use of force.
Nonetheless, the PPP stated that it has prepared measures to deal with the PAD rally but Lt. Kuthep did not comment on how the event would alter the nations politics, stating that he would wait to see how the matter unfolds.
