Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej said Sunday that the nature of the 2007 Constitution and the National Counter Corruption Commission (NCCC) tend to obstruct the Government in administering the country. He adds that there are some key members pulling strings behind the NCCC.
The premier also said that NCCC was not set up in accordance with the regulations as its establishment was not endorsed by His Majesty the King. He claims the establishment of NCCC also fails to comply with the Article 309 as well.
In response to his TV cooking show, Mr. Samak accuses the Election Commission (EC) of not using authorities in compliance with the regulations. The premier affirms his action was in line with the constitution. He explains that if he is one of the Oppositions, he will not destroy the Government for the sake of the country.
