PM attends ACMECS summit in Vietnam

- Prime Minister and officials travel to Vietnam to participate in The Ayeyawady - Chao Phraya - Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) on 6-7 November.
Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat would partake in the 3rd ACMECS summit meeting held in Vietnam on 6-7 November. The PM commented before his departure that he would discuss with leaders from 5 participant countries about the development and cooperatives in international trade & investment, transportation, and international trading pact.
Moreover, Mr. Somchai would also converse with PM of Vietnam on prices of rice and drug smuggling issues with the Burmese Supreme. However, the border dispute concerns between Thailand and Cambodia would not be particularly underlined during this event.
