PAD wants coalition parties to revise their roles
September 13th, 2008 - 9:45 am ICT by Amrit Rashmisrisethi ( Leave a comment )The People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) called on the coalition party, besides the People Power Party (PPP), to revise their roles in the government.
According to the anti-government group, the five coalition parties, namely Chart Thai, Puea Pandin, Matchima Thipataya, Ruam Jai Thai Chart Pattana and Pracharaj, should decide whether or not they want to work with the political party that is being opposed by many people.
Meanwhile, no violence took place at the demonstration staged by the PAD at Government House on Friday night, despite the rumours that the pro-government groups and the supporters of disqualified prime minister Samak Sundaravej may disrupt the PAD’s rally.
