A large number of People’s Alliance for Democracy protesters have been gathering in front of the government-run National Broadcasting Services of Thailand which operate NBT Television on Vibhavadi Rangsit Rd.
At 5.30 am today, a number of 50 PAD demonstrators broke into the building, forcing NBT officials to stop airing programs and trying to close broadcasting control room. However, police have been called in and are able to control the situation. After a brief search, police found among the protesters one 11-mm gun, one shotgun and several knives of different kinds.
More PAD members are reportedly joining their colleagues in front of the NBT building.
