NRCT Chairman for Philosophy Honorary Professor Preecha Changkwanyuen (ปรีชา ช้างขวัญยืน) informs that the country should draw up a policy to manage culture in the same direction as Thailand is renowned for its cultural diversity. NRCT Philosophy Division, Srinakharinwirot University, and academics from other institutions, arranged a forum to brainstorm the policy, guidelines, as well as suggestions on cultural management . The forum has the objective to create understanding amongst Thai children to realize the value of Thai culture as well as being proud of being Thai. NRCT expects that the policy will help promote unity among Thai people and make them conserve Thai cultural characteristics. Conclusions of the forum will be submitted to the Ministry of Culture.
Honorary Professor Preecha also calls on the government to consider cultural management as its important policy as the management of culture in line with the country’s economic and tourism policy will help generate income of many million baht a year.
