North, Northeast and East seeing isolated heavy rain
July 31st, 2008 - 10:09 am ICT by Amrit RashmisrisethiThe Meteorological Department reported at 4 AM today (July 31st) that a southwest monsoon prevailing the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand is weakening, causing rainfall across the country. The North, Northeast and East are experiencing isolated heavy rain. Moderate wind and wave conditions are likely over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand.
Bangkok metropolis and vicinity can expect scattered thundershowers. The daily temperature would range from 25 to 35 degrees Celsius. The speedc of southwesterly winds would be around 15 to 30 kilometers per hour.
