National Police to establish vice crimes center

Deputy Spokesman for the National Police Office, Police Major General Ruangsak Jaritake (เรืองศักดิ์ จริตเอก) revealed that National Police Commander, Police General Patcharawat Wongsuwan (พัชรวาท วงษ์สุวรรณ) has issued orders to police stations across the nation to take strict measures against places of vice such as gambling dens and entertainment venues. The commander has also called for the Central Investigation Division and the Provincial Police 1-9 to establish an information center concerning crimes of vice.
The center will receive and distribute information about places of vice to citizens and will also create task forces to closely monitor such activity.
The Deputy Spokesman also assured that any officers found involved or benefiting from vice crimes would be severely punished.
