MWA donates 50,000 bottles of drinking water to flood victims
September 26th, 2008 - 3:02 pm ICT by Amrit RashmisrisethiThe Metropolitan Waterworks Authority (MW) has recently donated 50,000 bottles of drinking water to victims of flashs floods nationwide.
Mr. Charoen Chaikittisin, Governor of Metropolitan Waterworks Authority, (MWA) said today (September 26) that MWA recently donated 50,000 bottles of “Pa-Pa” brand drinking water to the Ministry of Interior for distribution to victims of flash floods nationwide.
The flood and inundation caused by recent continous heavy rains have been affected many areas nationwide. It has been dragged on for months.
MWA govenor said that, as a state enterprize, MWA and other government agencies regarded as one of priorities for them to help the victims of the flash flood.
