He affirms that these organizations, under the supervision of the Ministry of Interior, will continue to provide water and electricity to public and private sector sites, including government facilities.
Mr. Supachai said that if state enterprise employees left their post to join People’s Alliance for Democracy demonstrations, substitute employees would be found to replace them. Retired or former state enterprise workers will also be called upon to temporarily return to duty to assist. The Spokespersons to the Ministry of Interior called upon employees of the nation’s state enterprises to refrain from joining political demonstations, as this would cause hardship for the public.
