The Thai Army is continuing its presence around the Ta Muean Thom Ruins (ปราสาทตาเมือนธม) today with military scouts from the Area 2 Army stationed throughout the site. Members of the public and tourists are being allowed to visit and view the ruins as usual but security from the military is being kept up. No visitors have traveled to the site yet today however while no reinforcements have been dispatched to assist the stationed military personnel.
Nevertheless, rumors in Surin province have indicated that the People’s Alliance for Democracy will begin a rally soon with many of the PAD’s leaders traveling from Bangkok to the province. Police in the province are preparing to provide security and deter against riots.
